We provide high quality residential, commercial and industrial services. For almost fifty years, we have valued our long-standing, productive relationships with contractors, homeowners, large/small businesses, and suppliers. We are state licensed in over 19 cities and counties in Ohio and can obtain additional licenses as needed.

Safety is an important part of the work we do. Because of this commitment to safety, we are a drug-free workplace conforming to Ohio BWC standards including new-hire and random drug screening. We have an OSHA certified trainer on staff for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications and we will be offering OSHA workplace training to other companies' in the near future.

We've recently added a 50' Altec boom truck to our fleet of vehicles, making service calls and high work more available to our customers. We also offer OSHA/ANSI Insulated Aerial Device (IAD) training.

Our History

In 1960, Gary Butchko started his electrical contracting business. Over the last forty six years he has carefully built a team of professionals to assure our high quality work standards will not be compromised.

Today Butchko Electric serves Northern Ohio and beyond with a fleet of over 20 vehicles. Gary's son, Bill, joined the company in 1980 and is involved in daily operations. Gary and Bill have assembled a supervisory and management team with a combined total of 160 years experience.
